2011 Year in Review | Personal

2011 came and WHOOOOOOOSH! -- it's almost gone.

This year has been a BLAST. I've traveled, met new people, photographed, built relationships, and been pushed beyond my comfort level.

Constant stretching, constant growth.

Stretching: my big girl pants and staying with people I'd never met for days.
Growing: my photography business (I've never had 36 photoshoots in a year before!) and my faith.

I am so thankful for every experience this past year, and so thrilled for what the next year holds. It will be a gooooood time, I guarantee it.

THANK you to all of my clients and friends this past year. I love you all and appreciate you!!
*cue applause to wonderful clients of the past year!*

All my love,
Rachel

Wheeling, West Virginia Family Photography | The Mick's

Hey everybody! I hope your Christmas was wonderful in every way. :)
And nooooow...
Meet the Mick's. (Isn't that fun to say?)

This Pastor Adam Mick and his wife Leah.

This is their daughter, Ava.

And their son, Asa.

Together they form the cutest happy little family who moved here from Arizona in August! What a climate adjustment. In fact, the day before the shoot they bought their first winter boots!
The day we planned our shoot was pretty yucky, but the kids were real troopers and did great! I give any family a lot of credit who decide to take family pictures in December! They were awesome. :D

Asa is such a goof. :D

"Look! over here! O wait! There's something else over here!" He is adorable. :D

Asa had a moment I couldn't resist posting. Love the look on Ava's face too. "Seriously, brother?" Hahaha.

We left our mark of the shoot. :D

Beautiful parents. :D

Love this girl. Her expressions are so sweet. Also, I am totally jealous of her face shape!

"Where's your hair Asa?!" O man. So cute.

He's doing the "pickle dance"! Love it.

He's such a poser, too.

Thank you Mick's for trusting me with these pictures on such an icky weather day! Thank you also for being such wonderful subjects. You made my job so easy. :D

All my love,
Rachel
