Knierim Family | St. Clairsville Portrait Photography

This photoshoot has so many of my favorite things:

Sweet girls
Red hair
Curly hair (What can I say, I like hair!)
Happy people
Bokeh bokeh bokeh
Green
Wonderful, beautiful family
Dresses

Little House on the Prairie books were these girls' "focus" for the past few months. They've made a quilt, various other projects, and of course had a "Little House Christmas" which came with beautiful dresses. To sum up their school year we had a little photoshoot to remember this stage before they outgrew their lovely clothes.

Seriously, I love our family's property.

Meghann, you used to be so little. When did you grow up and WHY!? I love your redhair and freckles.

This is Rachel. She laughs often and is poised and mature. I love her. <3

Lydia is so precious with her curly hair and big smile. She is a great big sister to Eliza and has beautiful eyes. :D

This green takes my breath away.

Meet the baby of the family, Eliza! She has the chubbiest cheeks, and is so expressive.

Beautiful beautiful family.

Spaghetti face, I love you.

Look at that baby fist and smile. She loooooved petting our chickens, and wanted to pick them all up.

Pretend food for the homemaker.

All my love,
Rachel

Frontier Days Revisited | St. Clairsville Portrait Photography

Readers! Hi. This moment is the perfect time to write this post, since it's the perfect time not to watch Indiana Jones Temple of Doom. Does that make sense? What I'm really trying to say is, avoiding Indiana Jones is imperative to my health. I pull muscles because I'm tense. Human sacrifice, overweight Indians, mustaches, monkey brains, and poison get to me.  Blogging, however, involves quietness, beautiful people, and pretty pictures like these. Going to the Great Western Schoolhouse is something our homeschool group has done for awhile. I remember dressing up in my bonnet and dress, sitting on the dunce stool and playing pretend with it all. Now I photograph the kids instead of joining them, which I still love. The day we went was absolutely gorgeous, with plenty of sun and warm temperature. All the children looked like they had such a great time, and went crazy with the costumes, which were so fun to look at.

My little sister looked beautiful, Uggs and all.

The teacher demonstrated some of the common forms of punishment during that time period, and had the whole class laughing.

Two boys yawning?! ;)

It was a smiley kind of day.

I'll end with a picture of my brother, because he's handsome. :D

All my love,
Rachel
