Christmas time is here!!
I love Christmas. Wonderful memories are made. Lights are twinkling. People are extra nice in Walmart. I make yummy food.
This is my significant other, Cranberry Eggnog Coffee Cake. (Things are really working out for us.)
Also, I love these pretzels, but...the chemistry just wasn't the same. They're more like my backup plan.
My family ran out of wrapping paper, so my siblings made some. It really looked awesome!
Yesterday my little sister wanted to have a photoshoot in her white flowey "skirt". Too cute.
Um. Hi chicken.
Natalie joined us for a few pictures, too. :)

Catherine took the camera.
Another aspect of Christmas is the Christmas card photo. This year the struggle was an uncooperative dog and 5 year old. :P (We actually did have one that turned out, though. :))
Since it's Christmas week, that means I can post whatever I want, right? Yay!! ;) Last month I never got around to posting about hunting season, which I was really looking forward to doing!
The Hopkins come down every year to hunt. I've already blogged about Chloe, Ruby, and Tirzah. We had a very full house, but it was such fun!
I made a little video.
Hahaha. O man. :D

I went home with Chloe and Jonathan afterwards, and we had a lot of fun painting their room, playing Just Dance, and holding Oliver! I made a little video of that visit also. :)
So! Tell me what your week looks like! I'd love to hear. :)
Merry Christmas, everyone!
Merry Christmas, everyone!
All my love,
Rachel

I LOVE the Oliver pics :) and the one of you behind Natalie :) awesome job
ReplyDeleteAmazing! The first shots of the food and the bokeh are just perfect! I know I have said it before but I will say it again, Catherine is just lovely and I love her ;)Gabriel's hair, just wow, and Oliver is just adorable!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Christmas!
I bet it was weird not having Ruby with you this year, huh?
ReplyDeleteJonathan and Gabriel look like they've got their bro-in-law relationship alllll worked out. :-P
And Caleb's comment on glancing over and seeing the first picture of Oliver: "That looks like an evil baby."
My week? This will be the weirdest Christmas ever. I have no decorations, I'm not cooking goodies because I feel sick, and I'm busy for the next five days solid. Wheeeew!
Have fun, Rach. Merry Christmas!!!
Love,
~H
Thanks Jenna and Janelle! :D (And yes, Gabe's hair is quite something. :P)
ReplyDeleteAw Hannah, yes it was weird without Ruby! But if you saw the video, you see we skyped which was nice. :) Haha! Yes I love that "evil Oliver" picture. :D
I've been wanting to call you. Can you email me with your address (for a Christmas card!) and phone-availability?
Love you and miss you! xoxo
Yay - Bokeh! And I now know what it is! haha! Love the Ollie pics. He's so cute! Looks like a fun holiday season!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
Yep, I too love the bokeh in the first few shots, especially the third where you had the lights in the foreground.
ReplyDeleteWrapping paper was really pretty!
