This spring has been SO beautiful and healthy green grass is growing taller in the fields. We have baby animals now and I love to sit in the evenings, watching them as they grow and leap and make their little animal noises. All this beauty in the sky, flora, sounds, and sisters running around outside gives me such a deep sense of contentment. Spring is warm and full of vivacious LIFE! Make sure to soak it in.

Ligonier, Pennsylvania Portrait Photography | Tirzah
This past Monday we were hanging out with some of our best friends and Tirzah and I squeezed in a mini-photoshoot. I love this girl.

James+Tiffany | Waynesburg, Pennsylvania Wedding Photography
My favorite drink from Starbucks is an iced caramel macchiato. Venti, if I have the extra change. The morning of this wedding I loaded a coupon web page onto my phone and printed out coupons (just in case) for a free tall caramel or hazelnut macchiato, and planned out the different Starbucks I would go to on the way. I was ready.
With coffee in the cup holder, tunes on the radio, and Pennsylvania hills rolling around me, I pulled up to a quaint log cabin with 4-wheelers in the driveway and a man in a plaid flannel standing in the sun room. He didn't look like he was getting married. "Um, hi...I'm the photographer." I cautiously said. "Ohhhh, yeah, Tiff's gettin married out back at the cabin! My wife will show you up there." They were the sweetest cabin dwellers I'd ever met. I followed Mr. Flannel Man's wife down the gravel road and through puddles to another tiny cabin made of rough boards and stone.
A few minutes later, James, Tiffany, and Tiffany's daughter Lilly arrived and the bustle began. This was the smallest wedding I have ever shot. Tiffany explained they never wanted a real wedding, it just wasn't them. The judge, Tiffany's friend Laura, Tito the dog, and I were the only attendees. I was so honored to be able to capture their day.

The cabin was rustic to the max. James commented, "This is so legit I felt like my beard grew two inches when I walked in the door." I'd have to agree, James. Minus the beard.
Watching a little girl's ecstatic eagerness right before and after she slips into one of her favorite dresses has always been one of my favorite little joys in life. I love this series of images, where I can practically see Lilly's imagined royalty as she danced like a princess.
Tiffany was pregnant and wanted a few maternity pictures! I was happy to oblige.
